Judy Anderson2025-01-21 21 January 2025 Our brother, Bruce, has been supported by a stable team of carers from LIVABILITY SERVICES for bi-weekly outings in the community over the past three years. During this period, Bruce’s confidence and sociability has increased greatly. His familiar carers support him as he visits the barber for a haircut, or a cafe or pub for a meal. Bruce now enjoys being part of a bigger group of people in a hospital or swimming pool cafeteria. His carers know him well and assess the safety and suitability of each setting they visit. During 2023, Bruce, gravely ill, had an emergency admission to hospital, where he was treated as an in-patient for a month. It gave the family great peace of mind that concerned and committed LivAbility carers were at his bedside to provide additional comfort and reassurance to Bruce, this considerably lightening the burden on the family in this crisis. Bruce is always excited on LivAbility days and sits with his day bag, patiently waiting for their arrival. We warmly thank LivAbility for their support and care of Bruce and commend their services to others. Judy -Sister Carnegie Rob - Brother Langwarrin Lucylle Nicolson2025-01-15 Our son Jack, has thrived under the care of LivAbility and his amazing carers. It took 10 years of changing services and moving homes to finally find his happy place. Fran, our manager of care, is oncall all hours, 7 days a week, always responding to messages promptly, attending all meetings and following through with all requests in a timely manner. Jack adores his carers and always greets them with huge smiles when leaving us after a visit. His carers regularly send photos and videos of Jack out and about enjoying himself experiencing new things in the community. Prior to being under the care of LivAbility, Jack was an angry hermit and expressed his frustration physically, now he is calmer, less anxious and healthier. I most appreciated his carers when Jack had issues that hospitalised him. They stayed with him, made him comfortable and less fearful. I sincerely appreciate the care my son recieves and highly recommend LivAbility services for your loved ones. Howard Wildman2024-12-23 I can recommend LivAbility Services for anyone looking for NDIS support to enable community participation. The team have been attentive to my brother’s individual needs and goals and have created a plan that suits his interests. The staff are excellent – professional, kind, and caring. I am impressed by the variety of community activities they have helped my brother engage in. Everything has been well-organised and they have been proactive in keeping me informed. Their communication has been excellent with frequent updates and photos and videos of my brother as he’s out and about. The team’s flexibility and reliability are also noteworthy. They consistently show up on time and have adapted to my brother’s needs when things have changed unexpectedly. They also go out of their way to make holidays and special occasions special for my brother. I couldn’t be more happy with LivAbility Services support and the increased community participation that my brother has had with their help.

Meet Françoise
The Heart Behind LivAbility Services
Françoise’s personal experiences caring for a family member with a disability profoundly influenced her journey into the NDIS sector. With extensive qualifications and over nine years of experience teaching and mentoring support staff, she has held leadership roles as a supervisor, representative, and union delegate. These experiences shaped her vision to establish a service that prioritises hands-on, participant-focused care. She has worked in the sector since 2006, starting with DHS and later under Melba when DAS was privatised, until she resigned in 2021. Françoise also taught Cert III and IV in Aged Care and Disability for nearly a decade.
Françoise founded LivAbility Services to address the gaps she observed in other organisations. Her goal is to create a close-knit support network that values trust, reliability, and person-centred care. Under her leadership, the organisation delivers tailored services that empower participants to achieve their aspirations while providing families with confidence in the quality of care provided. Françoise’s unwavering commitment to the NDIS framework ensures every participant receives the compassionate, goal-oriented support they deserve.
